At ZonMoto, we are committed to providing reliable products and professional customer support.

Warranty terms may vary slightly between manufacturers and product categories. Product-specific warranty details, where applicable, will always take precedence and will be clearly displayed on the corresponding product page.

This Limited Warranty applies to eligible electric scooters, electric bicycles, and mobility products purchased directly from ZonMoto.com.

Warranty coverage is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

1. Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise specified on the product page, eligible products purchased from ZonMoto include a:

12-Month Limited Warranty

covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

2. Covered Components

The following original components may be covered under warranty if a manufacturing defect is confirmed:

Electrical Components

  • Motor
  • Controller
  • Battery
  • Charger
  • Display
  • Throttle
  • Wiring harness
  • Pedal assist sensor (where applicable)

Structural Components

  • Main frame
  • Folding mechanism
  • Handlebar stem
  • Structural mounting components

Coverage is subject to inspection and verification by ZonMoto or the product manufacturer.

3. Battery Warranty

Lithium-ion batteries are covered for manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period.

Battery performance naturally declines over time and with use.

The following are not considered defects:

  • Normal capacity reduction
  • Reduced performance due to low temperatures
  • Damage caused by improper charging
  • Damage caused by water exposure
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications

Battery evaluation may require diagnostic testing, photos, videos, or additional information.

4. Items Not Covered

The following are considered normal wear items and are generally not covered under warranty:

  • Tires
  • Inner tubes
  • Brake pads
  • Brake discs
  • Grips
  • Chains
  • Bearings
  • Cables
  • Lights
  • Saddles
  • Fenders
  • Cosmetic components

Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

5. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidents or collisions
  • Improper use
  • Negligence
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Racing or stunt riding
  • Improper assembly
  • Improper maintenance
  • Water damage
  • Fire, flooding, lightning, or natural disasters
  • Use of non-approved accessories or replacement parts

Products with removed, altered, or damaged serial numbers may not be eligible for warranty service.

6. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

Depending on the nature of the claim, warranty support may include:

In certain cases, customers may be responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty service unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws.

Some products sold through ZonMoto may include additional warranty coverage provided directly by the original manufacturer.

Where manufacturer-specific warranties apply:

  • The longer coverage period may apply where permitted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZonMoto shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of income
  • Loss of business
  • Personal injury resulting from misuse of products
